Making A Clock
What Do You Need?
-
1 paper plate
- 1 piece of constructin paper (black)
- 1 brass fastener
- Scissors
- Paint, markers, crayons (whatever you want to use to decorate your clock)
- Glue (Optinal)
- Optinal you can cut numbers out from a magazine or newspaper and use them
as your numbers for clocks
How Do You Do It?
- Paint or color your clock in any fashion
- Once you are done painting or coloring draw a long hand and short hand
on the piece of construction paper, you may need a parent or gardian to help
draw the arrows
- Once you are done drawing the arrows cut them out and put them aside
- Draw the numbers 1-12 on the appropriate places on the clock, as an example
you can look at the clock at the bottom of the page. If you decided to cut
numbers out of newspapers or magazines make sure they are glued in the appropriate
places (reger to the clock just in case)
- Once the numbers are finished poke a hole through the center of your paper
plate.
- Place a hole as well on the ends of the long and short hand.
- Allign the hole up together and place the brass fastener through, make
sure it's loose enough so the arms can move around.
- Become familiar with your clock
